Eyelash Yarn
Add a strand of home-made eyelash yarn to give your work a shaggy effect.

Use embroidery floss, thread, crochet cotton, or fine yarn as your eyelash material. Measure out as much as you think you'll need and fold it double.

Tie knots every 2 inches or so, to make 1 inch eyelashes. (Longer spaces make longer lashes, but also bigger gaps in between.)

Snip one strand about halfway between the knots. Run your hand down the length of the eyelash material, going both ways, to get the eyelashes to stand out. Add your eyelash yarn as the 2nd strand on any project.

Make eyelash yarn by knotting and cutting thread, string, or fine yarn
