Wood Stove Restoration

Here are the before and after photos of the wood stove.

This stove was in such bad shape, we didn't realize the door was brass.

This shot was taken after I'd already painted the pedistal.
It's hard to tell the door frame is solid brass.

After 2 years, we still love the ambiance of a wood fire. This is our primary heat source.

Here it is in its new location in the living room--it was in the kitchen, right behind where it is now.
You're looking at our first fire. We also laid the tile for the surround. That project saved us about $400.
