New Features

Kids Online 
This
month's feature play site is Eco-Kids Online, a terrific interractive,
educational, environmental site from Canada (I'm listening to one of their
frogs croak as I write this). Everything on this site wiggles, squeeks,
or does something else, fun.
EcoKids is an award-winning site that was developed 10 years ago by Earth Day Canada, to promote environmental education. Now, they have clubs all over the world; games, stories, puzzles, and coloring pictures online, There's even a corner for parents and teachers, with curriculum ideas. (Click on that real quick if some stuffy old grownup catches you playing on this wonderful web site.)
"Interactive" is the key word on this site. Even
the stories have choices. Kids can also submit artwork, poems, and creative
writing to their gallery. There's even a forum, where kids can share their
opinions about the environment.
Work
Our
Work Online/Work From Home site review this month is WAHM.COM.
This is a really fun site, easy to navigate, with loads of info for all online workers, not just Work At Home Moms.
There's also a lesson, here, on how to make your website pay. Almost everything on this site has a price tag, but they're all reasonable. The most original idea I've seen yet, is selling their ads on eBay. What a great way to generate traffic as well as revenue.
Visit their active forums with all your questions, problems, and ideas for working from home or starting a business online.
Learn
Third Age Learning Center offers free classes on a variety
of topics. These are "learn at your own pace" courses, designed
primarily for seniors, but you're never too young to learn!
Learn about computers, websites, health, fitness, travel, romance, and investing. These courses are all tutored by volunteers, and each comes with a forum for discussion the course topics with the tutors and other class members.
When you register, they will send you to your student handbook. After that, the lessons are available online or via email.
