Christian Fiction Writing

by Susan Molthop

Revised August 3, 2007

Before we get started, let me say that if you're in it for the money, you're in the wrong place, but then you probably knew that already. I found NO publishers or agents, online, who specialize in Christian writers. I found NO easy markets for Christian fiction. I did find that Christian writing and home schooling seem to go together, so, if you're an educational writer as well as a Christian fiction writer, you may be able to carve yourself a niche that way. Now here's what I did find.

Here is Terry Burns' page of links for Christian writers.
Christian Writing Sites

It's always good to belong to at least one professional organization.
Christian Writers Fellowship International has been around for 20 years, helping beginners get started. They charge an annual membership fee, but CWFI seems to have a lot to offer its members, including a newsletter, Cross & Quill. They give you a few sample articles, before you subscribe.
